MAPS INTERNATIONAL HIGH HAS EXTENDED THE APPLICATION DUE DATE FOR MAY 2015 INTAKE
MAPS International High has extended the due date for May 2015 intake applications until 5th March 2015. The reason for the extension is due to the requests by the public.
MAPS International High provides many students the opportunity to study GCE Advance Level subjects for free, with the help of government sponsor. Eligibility criteria for free tuition (Ministry of Education sponsorship) are to achieve at least five passes (‘A’, ‘B’ or ‘C’ Grade) in GCE O’Level/IGCSE/SSC examinations. The school also provides opportunity to study as self-sponsored students for those who are not able to meet the above criteria.
In addition to Islam, Dhivehi, Mathematics, English Language and business stream subjects, MAPS International High also offers the opportunity for students to study unique subjects such as Psychology, Travel and Tourism, General Studies, Applied ICT, Law and Government and Politics. These subjects can also be taken by students who had studied science or arts stream subjects at GCE O’ level. Furthermore, MAPS International High also provides students the flexibility to take a variety of subject combinations.
The aim of MAPS International High is not only to provide higher secondary education to the students, but also to provide them with the skills and experience so that the students will be able to face the challenges of the working environment. This is achieved by providing the students with different training programs that would help to broaden their knowledge and help as a guide to deal with the challenges of the day to day working environment.
